Amateur sensation George Kean has signed with top promoter Frank Warren and will make his glittering debut on Saturday 21st September at the grand opening of the Copper Box Arena. The 22-year-old from Islington, North London, was a former boxer at the world renown Repton ABC, with 58 fights under his belts and has represented and captained both London and England. Kean will fight at welterweight and goes straight into a six-round contest - instead of the traditional four-round introduction for a pro-debutant, against an opponent to be confirmed on the undercard of Warren’s big multi-title extravaganza featuring Billy Saunders v John Ryder, plus stars Dereck Chisora, Frankie Gavin, Paul Butler and Liam Walsh.
