Official rehydration clause of 185 for Kova vs Canelo. Does it matter?

Fat dan just reported. Does it matter?

Yeah it matters. If you want to move up to face the champion and make history, cut the BS and do it straight up.

That being said, will it affect Kovalev? Probably not since as mentioned in that little piece Kovalev has fought under the IBF regulations before which require the same 10lb rehydration clause to my knowledge.

Still, it reflects bad on Canelo, as it should. If nothing else people will probably say Kovalev was drained if Canelo beats him now.

Thought there wouldn't be one of these, I'm sure it'll weaken Sergey, we'll see how he looks at the weigh in.

Doesn't matter. Kovalev has fought under the 10lb rehydration while he was IBF champ

Sure it reflects bad on him.

Floyd was 150 and didn’t ask for that. Canelo was 170 easy.

Is anyone really surprised? We all knew this was coming. He put a hydration clause on Rocky ****ing Fielding. If Fielding can't weigh over 185 then he's not gonna take a gamble on Krusher

Someone post fight night weights from the last 3 fights for Kovalev.

It's a morning second weigh in. Not a fight night rehydration clause.
