NSB PICK 'EM #37 AND #38. SAT 14th JULY (U.S)2018

Saturday 14th June 2018, Offenburg, Germany (UTC +2) and Sunday 15th June 2018 Kuala Lumpa, Malaysia (UTC +8).

US broadcast of the Malaysia card begins at 21.00 EST, 07.14.2018

    Tyron Zeuge vs Rocky Fielding
    Lucas Matthysse vs Manny Pacquiao

    BETTING ODDS:

    Zeuge: 2/7 Fielding: 5/2
    Pacquiao: 1/2 Matthysse: 6/4

    Ways fighters can win:
    Decision: WIDE or CLOSE
KO: EARLY (1-4), MID (5-8) or LATE (9-12)

Examples of the ways you can state your decision:

PICK EM CREW, Zeuge, Decision, Close x3
PICK EM CREW, Pacquiao, KO, LATE
If no multiplier is specified in your pick (ie x2, x3) then it will be assumed that no multiplier is being used (x1)
If you wish to pick a Draw result, simply state your Username, both fighter names and DRAW, ie:

PICK EM CREW, Zeuge, Fielding, DRAW
    NOTES:
-Draws are worth 120pts. A perfect pick without a multiplier is 30pts.

-CLOSE is <12 pts difference, or anything closer than 116-112 on all three scorecards. WIDE is >=12 pts difference, or anything equivalent to 116-112 on all three cards or wider.

-If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.

-2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points. Everyone starts with 5 doubles and 3 triples to use throughout the year. If you forget how many you have left, check the leaderboard in the master thread.

Granted he only holds the 'regular' version of the WBA strap and if I recall rightly shouldn't really have got that if there was any consistency in the way the WBA award their trinkets, but hey ho.. Zeuge ain't really anyone's idea of elite, but then neither is Fielding so perhaps it'll make for a decent scrap.

i dont care about all of that.

i just care about his first name, and why he has that first name.

            It's Irish, apparently.

From the name of a county in Northern Ireland which is derived from Irish Gaelic Tir Eoghain meaning "land of EOGHAN". This name was popularized by American actor Tyrone Power (1914-1958), who was named after his great-grandfather, an Irish actor.
Why mama and papa Zeuge decided that was a good name is anyone's guess, but perhaps they just liked the sound of it?

the madison/drama show, zeugue, decision, wide,
the madison/drama show, pacquiao, ko, late

never seen zeugue and dont know anything about him other than hes favourite and that fielding is very limited. i think pacquiao finally gets his stoppage, hes way past his sell by date but my feeling is he overlooked horn and hes still got more in the tank than he showed that fight (which i still thought he won). ive said for years mattysse is very overrated and that was in his prime, hes also way past his best now too and i imagine it will be target practise for pacquiao with enough punishment for the fight to get called off late. probably look good enough for people to go over the top and start hyping a crawford fight.
