Everything in the sport can’t be explained in 250 characters or less. Speed reading is your friend!

it was a long read but he had a lot to say, it was a big decision that has a huge impact on one of if not the biggest stable of top level fighters in the UK.

I don't object so much to the length, just how much it goes round in circles

Not always a bad thing if you incrementally expand on the previous circle. You do this yourself, your second post a slight expansion of the first but more or less the same theme to get your point home.

Thanks, I'm just glad that you've managed to stop repeating yourself, it was getting tedious & repetitive.

Kerry Kayes is a good friend of mine , I have known about the situation within the gym for sometime and I have read with interest comments on various forums posted within the last few weeks, many of them inaccurate and ill informed. Kerry at no time has asked me to come on here, nor do I know if he would thank me for coming on here as he is capable of fighting his own battles . I am not going to blow smoke up his arse and if I felt Kerry was in the wrong I would tell him , but I have been at Bettabodies when the fighters have been there, heard their comments and Kerry's concerns so i am possibly better placed than many on the forums for knowing the back ground of this situation.

I must say I have no personal problem with Joe Gallagher, I have met him several times at Kerry's gym and various boxing shows, he is always very cordial and passionate about boxing and is without doubt a talented trainer , but thought I would address a couple of the issues regarding this situation that Kerry tried to explain in an informal conversation with Terry Dooley and some points that had been omitted.

In a way there is two separate things here, CNP Professional the business and Kerry Kayes the strength coach and conditioner, with Kerry being the owner and public face of CNP things possibly get confused.

Kerry offered Joe use of the gym, his vast knowledge of training ,nutrition plus his assistance within the training camp . In addition CNP the company would pay for all of the associated costs of operating the boxing gym and nutritional products. the gym is branded with CNP logos and the boxers and training team are asked in exchange to promote CNP by wearing the associated clothing ,acknowledgement of support in interviews etc, the gym has cost CNP ltd in excess of £ 60,000 since Joe has been using the facility. Kerry wanted to be involved with the camp, he particularly enjoys working with boxers and I have been in his company around four round undercard fighters and world champions, he treats all of the boxers and indeed all people the same irrespective of their levels of success, it could be Ricky hatton or Ricky Butcher and the way he deals with the individual would be the same, ego's do not impress.
Without going over old ground Kerry has covered, he effectively felt pushed out the training set up which is not what he wanted, furthermore the simple arrangements to promote CNP were not always being honoured. Kerry has mentioned that Joe wanted to do the lot in training camp, bare in mind in boxing circles Kerry has worked on a far bigger stage and inturn holds great knowledge of the game to which he doesnt really credit himself with. This is a real shame as apart from the obvious benefits in strength coaching and nutritional advice Kerry can bring to the table a second pair of eyes can pick up on things possibly un-noticed and work to the camps and ultimately the fighters advantage.

Over the years I have followed a lot of boxers, been to various gyms and remember the late George Francis who was possibly Britains best trainer having a similar ' do all ' approach in the camp, but eventually brought in Keith Morton who was a martial arts, strength, conditioning coach to work with Frank Bruno on the Lewis and McCall fights , two of Franks best performances,to which George acknowledged Keith's input.

Kerry took a step back from the corners but I know for a fact a number of the boxers asked him would he still work their corners but didnt want to be seen as ' cherry picking' fights.

Kerry has mentioned in his article with Terry the various additional problems with promotional items. The artcle mentions is this 'a case of sour g****s for losing a thriving stable?'

As a businessman Kerry could have carried on with the arrangement ,CNP would of been continued to be associated with the boxers and the Gallagher camp and Joe would still be in the gym now rent free, but as a person not just a businessman Kerry felt let down by Joe, not everything is about money or product promotion, its about respect and gratitude and a sense of fairplay which sadly seemed lacking. Joe could not go and give Kerry 60k back CNP spent supporting the gym and he is not expecting him to, but ten minutes with a boxer on the pads at the Arndale is hardly a big ask or a name check for the company in interviews.

Dont forget Kerry could of stayed with the Hatton camp after Billy was dismissed, the publicity on a world stage CNP could of achieved if he stayed for the last two fights can not be overlooked, but again its not all about publicity or money, it was again principal and sense of fairplay that led Kerry to the court case involving Billy and The Hattons.

To answer some of the other rumours/ questions

Kerry has not masterminded some big comeback of Billy Graham, nor does Billy have any imediate plans to get back into the sport , whilst his battered hands may of healed the emotional wounds of the courtcase will take longer. Billy has expressed an interest that at some time he woudl like to get back into boxing but no boxers have been lined up.

Joe did not owe Kerry rent as CNP funded the boxing gym.

Comment has been passed that the boxers may have paid subs to use the facility but again this is not a requirement of Kerry's as CNP funded all costs associated with the up keep of the gym

There is no sour g****s that the camp are not training at Bettabodies, Kerry enjoys working with boxers and all the lads in the camp know where he is if they require any assistance
