    Pacquiao Blasts Mayweather

a summary of the story that appeared at abs-cbnnews today [ ]

MANILA - Pound-for-pound kingpin Manny Pacquiao believes that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is scared of him.

The seven-time world champion said the rigorous drug testing demands made by Mayweather's camp are just an excuse by the American to avoid their bout.

He stressed that he is willing to undertake any blood test to clear allegations regarding steroid use. However, he added that the test should not be made on the day of the fight because it will weaken him.

Top Rank boss Bob Arum said the scheduled March 13 fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather has been called off to protect his Filipino ward.

"I will not allow Manny to be made like a fool and pushed around by Mayweather," he said. "We don't trust them anymore. Mayweather never had any intention to fight Pacquiao and he's looking for a way out and to smear Manny's image as somebody who takes drugs."

Pacquiao's translated direct quotes (thanks, Splackavellie)

    Pac says:

"Let's require all even bloodtest, but not on the day of the fight itself, it will weaken you."

"He's just making excuses and strategies to get me mad so i'll be distracted on the fight"

"I don't have any problems fighting him, if he's on it then let's fight but if he's a little scared then he needs to man up"

"He (PBF) got a lot of reasons, he got a lot of demands, the fight is not yet signed, but now he's scared."

Do the tests with just one clause. No random testing 48 hours prior to the fight.

Manny seems to be on board. These tests seem to be a non-issue. The fight will happen people. Everyone breathe a sigh of relief.

      There you have it *****s.

Pac agreed to take the blood test but not on the day before the fight.
And he's also willing to take the blood test in the dressing room immidiately after the fight.

If Floyd insists on a fight night blood test then we can safely say Floyd is ducking the fight.

So now Floyd the ***** is known as someone who avoided top WW's and now Pacquiao. Pacquiao fought Cotto, something Floyd should have done a long time ago.

I think this is what they'll probably end up agreeing on. Here's hoping anyway.

If Floyd insists on making PAC take a blood test on the day before a fight then it's clear that Floyd doesn't really want to fight.

Sounds reasonable enough. Random blood tests up to 2 days prior to the fight and one immediately after.
