Pacquiao was NOT KO'd twice by body shots!

OK... enough. I'm getting tired of hearing this ****** myth. Manny Pacquiao has been KO'd via body shot ONCE only.

The Rustico Torrecampo KO was a shot to the chin. Watch the video closely, YouTube has it. It's also available for download if you go to the relevant section of the forums. There are several different versions on YouTube. Choose the longer version which shows the punch slowed down.

It was a freak KO if there ever was one. Rustico Torrecampo is a Filipino Jr. Flyweight with a record of 14-8-5. Yeah, you know Torrecampo... the one who got a draw against Julie Tagalog (WTF) who had a spectacular record of 6-12-4. Seriously, put Pacquiao in the ring with Torrecampo now and see how long the fight lasts. Torrecampo is no monster. The KO was a freak occurrence and has no relevance whatsoever on how the Pacquiao-Hatton fight will play out. Nor does the Singsurat fight.

BoxRec confirms the details of the Torrecampo KO:

Location: Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines
    • As both fighters were trading lefts, the left hand of Torrecampo landed across the face of Pacquiao. Pacquiao was unable to beat the 10 count.

Back to the point. The body shot KO was by Medgoen Singsurat. The fact that Pacquiao was weight drained for this fight tarnishes Singsurat's win somewhat. Again, BoxRec confirms the details of this fight:

    Judge: 18-20
    Judge: 18-20
    Judge: 18-20
    • Pacquiao fails to make weight and lost his Flyweight title at the weigh-in.
    • Pacquiao was KO'd with a bodyshot.
OK? Now, please go and watch the videos for yourself and please stop regurgitating the story about Manny Pacquiao being sensitive to the body and being KO'd twice. It's not true. I believe Pacquiao has one of the most well-conditioned bodies in boxing and Hatton will have little to no success with body shots.

I don't know. I think they only saw ****ty quality YouTube clips. In one version of the video that's floating around, it shows the KO but doesn't show it close up and slowed down. It was definitely a shot to the face, but it's hard to see. Regardless, Floyd Sr. and Hatton need to study their enemy closer and get their facts right. They are hoping for a body shot KO based on information about their opponent which is untrue. Good luck with that.

I wonder why Hatton didn't KO Malignaggi or Lazcano with body shots, seeing as his body punching is so... incredible. I mean, an old, soft version of Castillo is one example, but you can't keep hyping that **** along with the body shot KO's he scored over tomato cans. This is Manny Pacquiao, FFS. Completely different kettle of fish, especially compared to when he was a 19 year-old kid struggling to make Flyweight any longer.

Bottom line! He has been KO'd! TWICE! No matter when or How! He has been stopped so his chances are good for being stopped again!

Hope not so this pacq hype can be defused by PBF!

One body shot, One chin shot; agree.

The Chin shot was actually from Manny ducking his head low and the punch thrown that connected was a chopping shot that went from the sky to the ground by hitting the chin and then sliding down to the body.

Pac was basically a BOY back then who wasn't with Roach and wasn't training the way he does now....Freddie has talked about this and I posted videos about it.

Pac is at his strongest now. Freddie won't let him go into a fight where he is not fit and healthy like he may have back then (if he was).

That said...Pac's not Godzilla like some of his fannies like to think...but he is damn good.

Pac's going to be favored because people were already calling Hatton past his prime after the Lazcano match...as well as Freddie Roach saying Hatton hasn't been the same after being knocked out from Mayweather Jr.

However, anything can happen in this fight which is why I'm going to be watching. I can see both fighters win, but for Hatton to win, it depends on which version shows up both Mentally and Physically. We know what Pac will show up like.
