I still think Lopez is too much for him. Everyone loves the spectacular but Lopez is a master boxer/surgeon. I also think that CC is Mosley so I would like to see him in the mix. Just like we say that Mayweather vs Pac or Mosley is the bigger fight but Mosley-Pac is the far more exciting, I also feel that CC-Gamboa is the most exciting. I say have that fight 1st and the winner meets Lopez but I know that wont happened.

It will probably be Lopez-Gamboa with the winner meeting CC hopefully but I think Lopez like Mayweather, is the best of the trio. Gamboa like Pac will always look more spectacular so everyone will always pick him to win but the master boxer is going to win. Gamboa has crazy boxing skills also but Lopez is pure with his **** and he's a rangy Southpaw. Hard to beat if he's on his game. The problem is that he looks like he's getting shaky after 5 rounds now so he probably needs to soon move up

jml is a flatfooted brawler. gamboa can easily turn this guy with every shot he takes. And just like cotto, he is wide open when throwing that wide hook. He takes punishment far too willingly and when he steps in against a fighter that wont let him tee off, he is done!

I'm sold on gamboa though. He came out like a professional in the 1st and executed like a seasoned vet. I see him making jml look average at best.

True but what does that really mean? I compare that to Mayweather-Burton. Lopez was probably fighting the record. He probably saw all the losses and thought he was a bum. After that everyone thought Chico would kill Floyd and we saw what happened. Thats how I feel about this. Everyone now think Gamboa is going to kill Lopez but he's going to embarrass him

Lopez today I thought was VERY impressive considering Luevano is sort of a dull counter puncher who almost bores you to sleep with his very patient way of executing. I thought his knockout was much more impressive in that, not only has Luevano never been stopped, he also vowed to take JuanMa into the deep end, it never happened.

That being said, Yoriorkis looked Amazing blasting Roger out of the water. If they meet in there next fight I'd probably go with Yoriorkis based on how well he handled a guy who gave JuanMa fits and because I am thoroughly impressed with Gamboa's handspeed and I believe that will trouble JuanMa. But the fight would definitely be a WAR!
