Ronda Rousey has been medically suspended for up to 180 days following her knock-out defeat by Holly Holm at UFC 193 this weekend.
The 180-day limit is the most severe on the list of suspensions released by the UFC in the wake of the event in Melbourne, Australia.
Speaking on Monday after losing her bantamweight title during the UFC 193 clash in Melbourne, Rousey said on Instagram: “I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I'm fine. As I had mentioned before, I'm going to take a little bit of time, but I'll be back.”
