Has Fabricio Werdum been given the boot.

After taking wins against two top rated Heavyweights in Gonzaga and Vera, Fabricio Werdum looked like the obvious choice for a shot at the title with Randy out of the picture at the time.

Since then, Mir has jumped over him after his win over Lesnor.(who was competing in only his 2nd mma fight) That will be for the intrim title against Nog.

Now Randy will make his return and defend against Lesnor, with the winners of both fights due to meet.

This leaves Fabricio Werdum completely out of the picture, maybe keeping him away from the title shot for at least a year.

So my question is.. has he left the UFC or just been screwed big time by Dana White?

He was dominated by Arlovski a few fights back, he can wait his time...

He needs more time in the Heavyweight division.

And a move to Affliction, haha.

You think Mir and Lesnor deserve their shots then above a guy that beat Vera and Gonzaga.

From what I've read they are scheduling him to fight Junior dos Santos. Pointless fight really since the guy should probably be next in line for a title shot. And if they were gonna make it interesting at least give him a fight against Cain Velasquez.

I would say there's no clear frontrunner and Werdum won't sell a PPV.....

Fair point, but going off the 2 wins that Werdum has, i think he should face Nog for the title.
