    Whats Your Favorite Nas Verse?

I love the "We Major" verse, I'm not saying that it his best, just one of my top favorites...

    Nas:
I heard the beat and I ain't know what to write
First line, should it be about the hoes or the ice?
4-4's or Black Christ? Both flows would be nice
Rap about big paper or the black man plight
At the studio consol asked my man to the right
What this verse sound like, should I freestyle or write?
He said, Nas, what the fans want is Illmatic, Stillmatic
Picked up the pad and pencil and jotted what I feel
Been like 12 years since a ***** first signed
Now I'm a free agent and I'm thinking it's time
To build my very own Motown
Cuz rappers be deprived of executive 9 to 5s
And it hurts to see these companies be stealing the life
And I love to give my blood sweat and tears to the mic
So y'all copped the LPs and y'all fiends got dealt
I'm Jesse Jackson on the balcony where King got killed
I survived the livest *****s around
Lasting longer than more than half of you clowns
Look, I used to cook before I had the game took
Either way my change came like Sam Cooke.-Nas

Feeling better than I ever felt before today
Like better late than never it's orientation
Still we can make it better throwing all your cares away

            Nas]
Circumstances are like my first fight I lost
It was swinging, my arms bugging, adrenaline pumping
Oh ****, this little *****'s thugging
I mean, I was thirteen, I was nursing a knot on my face
But chose another time and a place
That I would avenge my last fight cuz the same ****
Ain't gonna happen that just happened last night
Knuckle game changed quicker than lightning
            Hit 'em or slice 'em
Either stick 'em or blast pipes, its the fastlife
I try to give another ***** advice, shoot dice
Do plenty of **** cuz this life, how many you get?
How many *****s do you know get two
Besides a ***** who snitch to skip a life-bid, be one a' your crew
            I don't respect killers, I respect O.G. knowledge
Codes of the streets got new rules, but no guidance
Lessons, detrimental to a young disciple
Focus, take care of your brothers, *****s do as I do
Keep your enemies close, where they can see you
It's not your enemy who get you
            It's always your own people
            It's always your own people
            It's always your own people
            It's always your own people
            It's always your own people

                Life's a *****

                Verse Two: Nas

I woke up early on my born day, I'm twenty years of blessing
The essence of adolescent leaves my body now I'm fresh in
My physical frame is celebrated cause I made it
One quarter through life some God-ly like thing created
Got rhymes 365 days annual plus some
Load up the mic and bust one, cuss while I puffs from
my skull cause it's pain in my brain vein money maintain
Don't go against the grain simple and plain
When I was young at this I used to do my thing hard
Droppin foreigners take they wallets they ***els and rip they green cards
Dipped to the projects flashin my quick cash
and got my first piece of ass smokin blunts with hash
Now it's all about cash in abundance, *****z I used to run with
is rich or doin years in the hundreds
I switched my motto -- instead of sayin **** tommorrow
That buck that bought a bottle could've struck the lotto
Once I stood on the block, loose cracks produce stacks
I cooked up and cut small pieces to get my loot back
Time is Illmatic keep static like wool fabric
Pack a four-matic that crack your whole CABBAGE
