Did Eazy E and 2Pac ever acknowledge each other?

I've never heard anything of Eazy E and 2Pac acknowledging each other whether it be through song lyrics, beefs, shout outs or anything the like.

I find it kind of weird considering they were both somewhat in the same category of gangsta/west coast rap, and the fact that they both lived in the LA area. I know Pac allegedly had ties to some Piru sets in LA and Eazy E was closely affiliated with Kelly Blocc Crips. Were they just at their musical peaks at different times?

And where does Dr. Dre come into play here? He was involved in beefs with both of them right?

Ah ok. Also, I'm sort of aware what happened between Eazy and Dr. Dre, and the numerous diss songs that came from that beef. But what caused 2pac to go after Dr Dre? I thought they were cool but the other day I heard the song "Against All Odds" and there's a line that says:

"This little ***** named Nas thinks he live like me
Talkin bout he left the hospital took five like me
You living fantasies, ***** I reject your deposit
We shook Dre punk ass, now he out of the closet"

And also at the end of "To Live and Die in LA" he said "California Love Part mother****in two, without gay ass Dre"

Not sure if that one is just poking fun or did he have beef?

I'm most likely incorrect but i believe Eazy sampled I'd Rather Be Ya N.I.G.G.A, on I'd Rather **** you. But beyond that i'm not aware of any connection.

Dre as i'm aware also left Death Row with ill will at Suge, and with Pac being so loyal to the Row responded.

"Still down for that Death Row sound, searching for paydays
        No longer Dre Day: arrivederci
Blown and forgotten, rotten for plotting Child's Play
Check your ***uality - as fruity as this Alize
Quick to jump ship, punk trick, what a dumb move
Cross Death Row, now who you gonna run to?
Looking for suckers cause you similar
Pretending to be hard, oh my God, check your temperature
Screaming "Compton", but you can't return, you ain't heard?
Brothers pissed cause you switched and escaped to the burbs!
Mob on to this new era, cause we Untouchable
Still can't believe that you got Pac rushing you
Up in you, bless the real, all the rest get killed
Who can you trust? Only time reveals"

Someone post that pic for me I don't know how.

They were cool through Treach and ATL (eazys group) and both appeared on Black Mafia Life.

Pac never had plex with Ruthless despite the beef with Death Row.

Eazy actually sampled the Bootsy Collins song "I'd Rather Be With You", and Pac did the same except it was an interpolation.

Cool with the pic above though. Seems they were cool despite the whole East Coast-West Coast nonsense.

I think Pac mentions Eazy in In His Own Words... Didn't really say much... PAC wast involved with Death Row until after Eazy died... As far as Dre, there was a lot going on... Dre help create DR and just walked away, he didn't show up as a witness for Snoop in court, which could have got the charges dropped... Pac was real loyal and didn't want to hang out with ppl like that... On Dres defense he didn't like where DR was headed...

And yes ZOD your incorrect Eazy was already dead when ***** came out... He sampled it from Bootsy's I rather be with you...

                  Thanks for the replies.

Was 2Pac not a part of Death Row yet when Eazy's "Real Mother****in G's" came out? Because Eazy went in pretty hard on Dre and Snoop and Death Row in general. You would think 2Pac wouldn't take kindly to that.

And as far as Eazy E going after Dr. Dre in the first place, that's mostly because he left NWA right or was it something else? And why did he go after Snoop, just because they were close?

****in Wit Dre Day came out before Real Mother****in G's right?

Ice Cube leaving N.W.A put a serious damage on them and they were certain to fail soon, but Heller's involvement started breaking their friendships. Supposedly Heller was only taking care of Eazy and E wasn't concerned with Dre and refused to release him from the record. Suge also threatened violence on E's mother in response until he let him go. And in the words of Kool G Rap, "You ain't got beef til you gotta move ya mama."

Snoop was also Dre's new running mate and protege of course leading him to join his mentor. G's also came last. I believe Pac was also still interscope at the time.
