As far as I'm concerned, Beastie Boys are on the short list of best rap groups of all time, from their discography to longevity to awards to album sales to artistic ingenuity, whatever you're grading them on, they're in the same category as ATCQ, PE, Wu-Tang, Bone Thugs, Run-DMC, whoever......

Beastie is okey. Not something I listen to myself, but I can def see why they're up there. As great as Run DMC.. Meh.

Apart from Pauls Boutique I haven't really liked much of the Beastie Boys music and find them fairly annoying. There decent but I wouldn't classify them as being great.
