Why is young jeezy so popular?

I've listened to him and can't figure it out...am I missing the good songs?

From what i hear his songs sound good but on his best day hes below average lyrically. I think hes one of those rappers that needs good beats to sound good, but i cant say that with certainty. I know theres people on here who like him...

I hear alot of people saying hes a great lyricist. I don't hear it, but maybe i'm not listening to the right songs.

Most people like him for a bunch of reasons. His style- add libing and mixing up different combination of words people seem to digg that style.

Also a lot of fans say he speaks from his heart and regardless he is brutally honest when he rhymes and means what he says..

Personally I dont think he's a great MC but I digg his new album a ton and think it's one of the top this season.
