today is the day i stop smoking!

i have been thinking about this for a few years now but never really make a push for it but today is the day. i am tired of this habit that i have. i have been smoking weed since 2001 and by 2009 i was smoking it every single day!

before i eat i'd smoke first! before going to the movies, shopping for food, etc... i would always need to smoke first! and if i dont, then i wont be able to enjoy myself..

i have been depending on weed for the past 10+ years and its getting the the point where i dont even enjoy smoking anymore, i just have to do it to contain my addiction.

but im getting tired of this. in order for me to grow and better myself, i need to let go of these things that is holding me back. i spend about $100 every week just for this and i go through it by the end of the week and will need to re-up again! i have been stuck with this same routine daily and i am done with this shiiet!

    icetray is out this biiiatch!!!!

Exactly. Good job on being honest with yourself.

Most potheads cling to tranquilizing themselves and refuse to accept the truth that their lives are going nowhere.

If you want to accomplish great things in life then you have leave behind what's easy and safe and dive into the difficult and terrifying. That's how you grow.

    Weed stunts your growth.

The worst myth I have ever heard about weed is that it makes you smarter.

No it does the hell not lol. You only think you're smarter, while you're saying and doing ****** shlt that seem smart because you're high.

If you really want to be smarter, then exercise, eat right, read, go out and experience life, reach out to other smart people, travel, fall in love, go to places you've never been, start a business, meet as many people as possible, go to as many different places as possible, try as many new things as possible.

      That's how you become smarter.

          Good luck bro.

I made it a habit to only smoke when I'm finished with my day. I used to be a 24/7 stoner, literally first thing I did after waking up and last thing I did before bed was smoke.

I'm done with that life. It helps me unwind at night and it's cool when I have nothing else to do, but it's not a good habit to be high all day.

Good shlt, man. I stopped last week, though I have been saying it will be only a hiatus.

But honestly I don't know if I'll smoke again. Just kinda got bored with it and, like you, felt I was just smoking out of habit instead of enjoying the high. Didn't help that the last zip I got was like sleep in a bag. Looking forward to saving that money and preserving my lungs!

bro that was me! when i first started out... i would only smoke on the weekends lol.. i was a responsible smoker lol.. but after a while, you start picking up a habit.

i didnt start smoking everyday until like 2009-2010, before that, i was only smoking on the weekends. now, i need to smoke it before i do anything. this is not a good thing lol.

like i cant even go to the store to buy some toothpaste without getting high first. even for little stuff like that where you'll be in and out of the store, i still need to get lit first before i go..

Stopped that shiat when I was in my teens...... drug-testing galore in the oil industry...... 18 months off the cigarettes is my big win, that was tough to give up..... still have to vape when I'm stressed or drinking, which is when the habit bites hardest.
