I don't like the bans, they are not the solution but I will say this and it bugs the living bejesus out of me! Like "Man down" I cook things for the family. EVERY now and then...I like to grab a Big Mac, and/or some such thing. YOU cannot do that in Baltimore!! The idiots here are so ****** they eat at fast food places regularly, they all have lines, most of the day.

It drives me nuts because I know how bad it is, and a person should be able, now and then, to grab a burger at a fast food place. its also getting more expensive. People are really asking for it eating this crap all the time. Its an example of how their bad choices screws it up for people who might fancy a fast food meal now and then.

I support anything that makes people who live in cities suffer as much as possible

So I'm split on this one because fast food is so sloppy and unhealthy, but banning it would also be extremely inconvenient to busy hungry people. I'm not sure which option increases urban misery to the greatest degree.

The part thats crazy is you can get a cooked chicken for 4.99 at Costco and these are pretty big chicken's.

I was blown away at people on dim underground complaining that they were to cheap wtf.

So the British are like fat women, Morbidly obese but you point the finger at other people?

I've been to Europe many times and was shocked at how fat the British are compared to the rest of Western Europe.

Also the hygiene of the Germans was just as shocking.

            Just stating the facts

36.20% Obesity rate is very high. That nearly 150 million fat people

More than anywhere else in the world

The British are the most obese in Europe, but still less so than the Canadians, Australians, Mexicans and Americans

Any time a fast food joint goes up in a new country, their obesity rates begin to rise. When I was in Korea and Okinawa I would see long lines at the Burger Kings and other fast food joints--and a bunch of pudgy Asians who have been lured from their traditional diets and gulping down value meals and over sized soft drinks. I see it here in the states quite a bit as well. Cultures that normally have healthy diets start eating fast foods and before you know it they can't fit into their burkas and Sari.

I still don't think Government should be controlling people's eating habits. This resembles Mayor Bloomberg's push to control soft drink and portion sizes and using that as an excuse to add a new tax.

We have a city in the Inland Empire called Loma Linda. Its a Medical town, the cities economy thrives on the Huge Veterans hospital along with the Prestigious civilian hospital.

With that said, this city banned Fast Food restaurants for many of the same reasons and its a beautiful/clean city. You also see a lot of people walking and jogging. I think its also been voted happiest I.E. city for years now in our local paper.

Now you go next door, literally on the other side of the freeway and you're in San Bernardino. San Berdo definitely is 1 of the most ****** cities in the USA. The cities make-up is literally fast food restaurant, strip club, liquor store, dispensary, dollar store, and lets not forget the HUGE welfare office in the cities center.

One of the states banning drive throughs moving forward for new construction is that cars idle waiting for their order. They want to cut down on pollution.

I say late drive through help the establishments to stay open late and help with not being victimize by a criminal.
