I hate when people ask me "how are you doing" "are you okay"

Because if I were to answer that question honestly, I would probably say something like, " Well i've accepted the inevitability of death, that no matter what I do, i'm going to die and that the universe is either going to collapse or break apart into nothingness, so nothing really matters.. that's how I am.. how are you?"

But instead of putting them on the same existential trip I'm in, i just say oh I'm going good.

As if anybody even answers that question honestly.

Who's more ill, the one that grasps and understands the flimsiness of existence, or the one who chooses to cling to wordly distractions?

          Hm?

You have a point bro.. as long as you keep going you have a chance to prolong whatever this conciousness is as long as it can go, and who's to say it might ever end because the only thing as limitless as death and time is possibility.

            Nah lol no meth.

What I mean is if you can find a way to preserve your brain... then hundreds of years later find a way to upload your consciousness into a data stream or something and so on, endlessly prolonging your consciousness...

..That's possible. There's no end to possibility.

But no matter how complex I imagine we become, the true nature of reality is still infinitely ungraspable.

And even if you could prolong your consciousness for thousands of years....

Imagine in what state you would be after thousands or even millions of years.

Even if you found a way to prolong your consciousness that long through technology, who you are millions of years from now would be completely unrecognizable from what you are now.
