    Once upon a time the solo was a thing....some great drum solos. Post your favorite solos, drums, guitar, keyboard, brass, etc.

    there is that legendary solo by sax man Scott Gilman.....

    as well as some pretty killer lead

    and I like the drumming in that number by Pink Floyd where Nick Mason loses his stick and recovers

                Some great picks so far. That Ginger Baker solo was perfection. Props for Animal vs Buddy. Never saw that Cobham solo either, great stuff.

                Here is the great Joe Morello. You can see and hear the influence he had on Bonham’s Moby **** solo.
