They know next to nothing at all about human origins, they just have a narrative contrived of minute tidbits based on chance finds at geographical sites, ambiguously determined by the geological feasibility of preserved remnants being unearthable.
The supposed historical chain of human origin is constructed, as if constructing a puzzle with one ten-millionth of the pieces, and then trying to suppose the end-form of the puzzle.
What this discovery does is expose the physical anthropology profession for the fantastical nature of their supposed contributions.
They may be good technicians, but they were wrong to suppose to know what they couldn't possibly know.
The academic fields are founded upon the hobbying tendencies of the leisure class; thus the need for aggrandizement on the part of particular individuals. The Leakys are among these ilk.
