Well, as long as there are people there will be racism and oppression, that's just how it is. However, that being said, it's ludicrous to listen to mainstream media or political talking heads when it comes to this subject because, true or not, they will.push the narrative that supports and furthers their agenda.

Since my days in college I've been invited to several different so called 'Black protests' but I've never gotten involved because of my perception that they were doing nothing more than pushing an agenda as opposed to, as clichè as it sounds, doing what is right. On one occasion last year I was invited to a protest that was to be organized in Nashville. They never outwardly said it was *** but it was heavily implied and they went as far as to hand out a piece of paper with words to say and not to say on television or radio if interviewed. Furthermore it also talked about acceptable and unacceptable topics. Racism and oppression are keywords of the supposed far left political agenda. I personally think that this identify politics bull**** does way more harm than good to not only the African American community but everyone as a whole.

Regardless of our troubles, America remains the land of opportunity and that's why people still flock her in droves.
