Anyway to add photos on facebook without it showing up on the newsfeed for everyone to see or on your timeline?

I want to upload some old pictures but dont want it to be on the timeline.

I want to add photos to an existing album without it showing up on the newsfeed but I dont believe there is a way to do this.

I notice those websites have their own facebooks, but they post articles on their facebook tot heir website, how the hell do they do that? its weird I clicked a picture and it goes to their article.
