I cant help but think what if. If Felipao used Diego Costa earlier on, if he bought Luis Fabiano, imo I just cant understand why when you have strikers like Pato, Costa, Fabiano to chose from and you bring Fred as your no.1 striker and Jo as your backup?(even wagner love is better than these guys, even an aging injury-prone Adriano wouldve been better than these lot) He didnt really even bring any proper impact subs, Bernard did okay but hes inexperienced, he couldve had kaka, robinho who are still top level(not prime but still world class), he couldve had some real pace off the bench in Alex Pato.
He couldve had diego(midfield one) and oscar in the middle along with luis gustavo if they needed a plan B and needed to keep possession. He couldve had Alex whos a more physically dominant centre back than Dante, even Ronaldinho might've created as an impact sub for the last 10-20minutes. This team basically got this far almost purely because of the huge support and momentum from the crowd, on talent they werent even top10 in this tournament, which is a shame because they could have had the best team in the tournament if Felipao wasnt an idiot
