That is not even a remotely excessive amount of money.

Who is going to check them for it? You can't criticize a hero of the oppressed.

I just see it like this. There was a time in human history where the most lucrative skill you could have was beating people up and being really good with a sword.

Later on the most lucrative skill you could have was inventing things and marketing them.

Nowadays the most lucrative skill is role-playing that you're oppressed and having a good lawyer to ruin anyone who claims you aren't oppressed.
      I like this guy.

Who cares,, him taking less money is going to solve or have any impact on poverty...

I dont care how much he makes, its a free market..

Though i do loathe the left wingers that deride capitalism, free markets, **********s, etc but that same system makes them rich..
Like when michelle ***** claims to be a single mom in an interview, yet she spends 20 million a year on her air travel alone...
Hillary clinton tries to be a defender of the poor vs "evil" corporations though she was a lawyer for walmart in her early years, and just got 14 million advance for her book...

Law professor is a highly paid profession.

          There's nothing to this story.

Nichol is slated to teach federal jurisdiction this fall and constitutional law

                Now that's a hoot.

director of the law school Center on Poverty, Work and Opportunity.
Make work job Alert! In other words make sure that people stay poor so he can keep talking about the poor while collecting a inflated salary, courtesy of guaranteed student loans which bid up tuition costs.

Do you mean he single handedly brings in 50 million for the school?

And yet, he contents himself with only 2.4 million, and donates the rest to the school?

                      That is quite a man.

It does beg the question, what of the unpaid athletes who wear the uniforms?

Oh, they get a scholarship. That's right.

Well, some of them do at least. Until an injury puts them out of the line up.

And yet, none of them are paid for the '50 million' in revenues which they generate through their sweat and blood.

How much revenue do you suppose the lawschool generates?

Given the qualifications of a law professor, $200k is not a lot of money.

A law professor has the same qualifications as a physician, more or less.

If things were commensurate to how much money the law school generates, this man would likely be taking home a lot more money.

                      You are a right tool.
