There are a lot more than 100,000 stars in our galaxy, the number is closer to hundreds of billions.

Between 200 and 400 Billion. It tells you that.

The 100,000 refers to the 119,617 Nearby stars that have been studied.

It says the 100,000 stars are the ones in real detail. When you zoom out you get to see all 200-400 billion.

          Take the tour, it explains.

The program uses the term "stellar neighbourhood" instead of "galaxy".

Rubbish, they are missing over 90% the Milky Way

That was good. I wish I could survive being out in space with no food or water and being immune to death so I can just travel all around the milky way for all eternity.

I have to admit, 200-400 billion seems like a little bit.

I just think about the size of the Earth, and then there's 7 billion people living here, plus the animal kingdom. You put the Milky Way's size in perspective, and 400 billion just seems too few IMO. Relative to its size that is.
