The true answer to this question is it depends on what area of the US you're in. Target is huge out west, but practically dead in a lot of the east.

Just so you know, this is a very SoCal specific cultural thing as a general trend in my experience. There aren't even that many Walmarts in the region.

There's a Target and Walmart right next to each other where I live. I always choose Target. Too many lowlifes at Walmart and it's dirtier.
