Bane didn't fight a prime Batman in The Dark Knight Rises.

Bruce Wayne was long past his prime, coming back from an 8 year lay off and had problems with his knee and elbows. Bane beat on an old man.

This same old man cut off Banes air supply and ****ed him up in the championship rounds of the movie. A prime Batman would have killed ass.

Come on guys. Bane was fighting a past prime Batman, I'll give you that, but he was weight drained and had personal problems.

On top of this, Alfred negotiated home-town venues every time, and Bane lost Catwoman 3/4's through camp.

Prime Bane had the Venom serum that gave him superhuman strength. Chris Nolan Bane had a gas painkiller system for reasons unknown. Some sort of IV painkiller would be more efficient and less vulnerable.
