    Great article on Derrick Rose

I was at the barbershop yesterday and picked up the latest issue (March 2011) of Sports Illustrated up. One article that stood out to me was the one by Lee Jenkins that documents how D. Rose transformed into a player with a Jordan-esque killer instinct. Basically in one summer he transformed his entire game. He's quickly becoming my favorite player in the NBA. One thing that stood out to me and I thought was pretty amazing was how grounded of a person he is. Even with the millions he's making, he drives around in a Ford pick-up and stays in a 3-bedroom townhouse with a couple roommates.

            Yeah, and I bookmarked it.

If that story is 100% accurate then the Bulls are in great hands.

            I'm pumped.

I seriously doubted whether he was going to even come close to how much I revered MJ and Pip not to mention he's not even my favorite Bull right now.

But after reading this, I like him much, much more already.

It definitely sheds a new light on the type of player and person he is. I mean for me it does. I remember people questioning his character issues and whether Chicago would bring nothing for trouble for him. This article definitely shows he has his head on straight and is staying well-grounded.
