killing yourself: an act of cowardice or not?

imo i dont think its coward to end your life. first of all more than 80% of the population in the world are afraid of dying (specially accidental death).

but some people thing it is coward though. but i think it can go either way if you think it is coward or not.

It's cowardice because you are only thinking about yourself and not the people that care about, but it takes balls to do it.

Personally I think it is situational.

I have an element of sympathy for people who can't live with the guilt of something they have done (i.e. killing someone). I think sometimes in those cases suicide is understandable.

Suicide comes from the mind being altered from stress and other mental illness'. If someone commits suicide over a hard situation they are not a coward, their mind is just tuned that there is no solution and everything snow balls from there


It comes from an illness, if someone dies from cancer you wouldnt call them a coward for dying because it was an illness...mental illness is cureable with proper medical procedure and techniques

you cant say its cowardice. most of those who commit suicides are more than depressed people which led to brain dysfunction (eg they are suffering from neurosis). there is actually an explanation for that where when you are depress, you brain is not balanced (eg those serotonin thing) which somehow distort the disposition or clarity of one's mind.

Suffering is a HUGE part of life. I mean you are born and start crying because of the pain when you are introduced into the world.

Some people are born with a pre disposition of having an imbalance in their brain and aren't able to take stress like most people. Just like some people are born with brains that are more powerful and capable of more success in life, while there is many who have smaller IQ's because their parents smoke or drank while they were pregnant


You just can't say someone is a coward, there is a story behind every smile and cry...
