The more precise term is "cheap". Greedy is more like someone who wants to hog it all. But, if a person is fussin' over a dollar, they're just being cheap.

The funny part is, I've come across some folks who have fussed over a few dollars, and these cats I would consider upper middle-class folks to say the least.

Some people just vaue there dollars more. Weird thing is, if you dont have much money you spend more and broke. Now with so much more money!!! Every dollar spent is valued, I know its weird.
You do realized most Millionaires in US are not driving luxury cars, not living mansions. Theres cheaper than they ever been.
