    Boxing Scene Addiction

I can't post on any other site...I am serious, its not possible. I signed up at some basketball site today and after 5 posts I lost motivation to be a member. All that went through my head was how being part of that site will take away from krikya360.com time. Other than Tysontalk.com which I go on every couple of weeks, I can't post on any other site. I think its an addiction.

...I'm on other boxing sites that I won't mention but I haven't posted in them for at least 6 months. I don't even bother because I find them lame and they never hold my interest. Occasionaly I go read some posts but nothing even interests me enough to comment.

I think its the community factor, this site does feel like a family.

I migrated from and was a usual on there board, but there "top" guys on the board ruined it and everybody flamed the newbies and it went all downhill from there. It was just a race and a contest and all conversation was thrown out the window.

I visit it occasionally just to read the threads but you cant go without reading any slandering on that board.

BS almost drove me away when a lot of flaming was going on and people was just busting into every thread arguing over ****** ****, but the storm has withered and it is back a little bit.

Boxing Scene has one of the best boards EVER, despite some jack offs.

I only came to Boxingscene when it acquired and integrated Global MMA into it's database. Initially I didn't really know what to expect but I've always been a longtime boxing fan and though I don't really explore some of the "bells and whistles" I find this forum very knowledgeable and informative about boxing. Could do without bashing the fighters a bit more imo and even the poster bashing but I'd settle for everyone respecting the fighters and let the posters "sink or swim". No need for outright disrespect especially because it takes no courage to do that over the internet.

          Course ... if you're attacked ... *shrugs*

I know what you mean, I cant stand it when their is a discussion going on about a certain fighter and someone cant answer back with a civilized answer and there rebuttle is like "shut up ***, and so forth". That irritates the **** out of me, especially when people dont like fighters and refuse to give them respect for there accomplishments. THAT is really bad on this board, I have noticed.

MayweatherFan -************* was decent at one point, but damn has it gone downhill. It generally used to be an overall good site and I liked it a lot.

When we had that big blow up of people selling fights on the boards and it became a weak competition on this site, Rick enforced action and made people who sell fights pay a fee for a listing. A lot of them migrated over to that board, so that is a plus
