It's fine to say "just stop oil" but I haven't heard any of them come up with a non head-in-the-clouds proposal on how we actually do this, and how standing in the road helps. Even if there was an abundance of electric cars out there, and everyone could afford them, the electrical infrastructure isn't there to support so much extra electricity use. It's not like electrical production doesn't involve fossil fuels to an extent either. I don't mind people raising a problem if they have a solution, but their solutions just seems to be annoying everyone trying to get to work.
