You probably didn't. Once you already had COVID the difference was marginal unless you were old or vulnerable. There's still a small additional benefit from each immunisation (with diminishing return each time) but that has to be weighed against a very small risk of some vaccine related injury

Course that wasn't known until many months after the vaccination program started - they had to wait until there was enough data in to do the research before they could give solid answers on that sort of thing

I mean end of the day it was always kind of likely because more or less vaccination is just a way of tricking your immune sytem into thinking you've had a disease, but you don't know for sure til you crunch the numbers.

Its a good point, I always am critical of anyone who wants me to do anything and I ask myself what is in it for them before what is in it for me.
