"Late last year, studies showed that of COVID vaccines were effective at providing a little extra protection from infection — particularly in the face of the Omicron variant. Some countries are now offering fourth doses, but scientists say that endless boosting might not be a viable strategy, nor is it how these vaccines were meant to be used.

“We’re in totally uncharted territory for vaccinology,” says Danny Altmann, an immunologist at Imperial College London. “We’ve stumbled into a de facto programme of frequent mRNA boosters as an emergency measure, but this really doesn’t feel like the way to go.

is that guy credible enough for people? immunologist at one of best universities in the world. or @citizenkoba @robbiebarrett does he need to go 'read a science book'?

      • Lee Johnson suggested the Covid jab could be behind Lee Burge's heart problem
      • Burge, 29, has been ruled out of action for five weeks due to an 'inflamed heart'
      • The British Heart Foundation found 'rare cases' of heart inflammation after a jab

      Lee Johnson actually said....

'Johnson said: “It seems to happen a lot after these injections or Covid.

First.... he's not a doctor as he said.
Second..... its most likely Covid which he indicated
and he said what you or your source cherry picked out the news article.

It's recommended to get a flu shot every year because of variants. Im sure the flu vaccine wasn't meant to be used in that manner when it first was introduced. They don't have an alternative at this point in time for Covid treatment, The most effective tools are the Covid vaccines.. A third shot is extremely effective in preventing death or severe illness which either Altmann failed to mention or was left out of the quote of what he said. Keepin people out of the ICU or dying is the ultimate aim.

If he has any kind of a brain he has to know that keeping people alive is paramount. Saying a third shot is slightly better dealing with infection is only telling part of the story. What the hell is the matter with this guy..

Covid vaccine latest: AstraZeneca now linked to 'transverse myelitis' - MHRA warning

ASTRAZENECA, now referred to as Vaxzevria by the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA), has been associated with cases of transverse myelitis - i.e. inflammation of the spinal cord.

"Treatment for transverse myelitis includes medications and rehabilitative therapy," the Mayo Clinic noted.

While "most people" are expected to recover, "at least partially", those with severe attacks may be left with "major disabilities".

The symptoms of transverse myelitis may develop within a few hours to several weeks.

Pain might begin suddenly in the lower back, with shooting pain travelling down the legs, arms, chest or abdomen.
