It's recommended to get a flu shot every year because of variants. Im sure the flu vaccine wasn't meant to be used in that manner when it first was introduced. They don't have an alternative at this point in time for Covid treatment, The most effective tools are the Covid vaccines.. A third shot is extremely effective in preventing death or severe illness which either Altmann failed to mention or was left out of the quote of what he said. Keepin people out of the ICU or dying is the ultimate aim.

If he has any kind of a brain he has to know that keeping people alive is paramount. Saying a third shot is slightly better dealing with infection is only telling part of the story. Covid vaccine latest: AstraZeneca now linked to 'transverse myelitis' - MHRA warning

ASTRAZENECA, now referred to as Vaxzevria by the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA), has been associated with cases of transverse myelitis - i.e. inflammation of the spinal cord.
