you don't know what was on the road and what would have happened if they both jumped at 17 mph. you are effectively 10 feet off of the ground jumping out of a big rig. you might die if that thing is stationary. big guy droive that thing to the end like a badass and other dude jumped from a moving truck at 40 mph like a badass.

Report says that he had been driving for 24 years and that was his personal truck that he owned for 19 years. How noble that he went down trying to get her under control to the very end even when he knew all hope was lost. He even had his hand on the steering wheel while he was being flipped upside down. He was a true trucker.
