nope that's not an idea that's being a group of *********s...

So everyone who identifies as 'antifa' is or described as 'antifa' by groups who wish to suppress dissent are '*********s' now huh? So what if I consider myself against racism and authoritarianism... would that make me a *********? Or merely a ********* sympathiser...

What about these folk here protesting against an actual murderous ******* party... they *********s?

And once again - in case you didn't understand it the first time round 'antifa' is not a group any more than 'the peace movement' or 'libertarianism' is a group. There are groups that describe themselves directly as 'antifa' but there are also groups with similar beliefs and goals that do not, and the vast majority of anti*******s ain't even part of any 'group' at all but are just individuals that believe that intolerance shouldn't be allowed to flourish unchallenged. It's a belief in the principle that authoritarianism and bigotry should be combated to prevent it from growing into the murderous tyrannies we saw in the 20th Century... some individuals or groups within that broader movement believe in combatting racists directly and meeting violence with violence, some are just messed up mfers angry at the world (same as with plenty of the dudes on the far right), and others - the large majority - elect for peaceful protest and indirect routes such as doxing, letter writing campaigns, vigils and peaceful protests.

Are there those within the broader movement that you could call *********s? Yeah possibly depending on how low you set the bar ... but then there's those that describe themselves as libertarians or 'patriots' that also use intimidation and violence to further their political aims and in fact have a far more lethal record of violence than antifa - does that make everyone identifying as a patriot or 'right libertarian' a ********* or ********* sympathiser... does it make you one?

Antifa isn't a peace movement. You know enough about communism to pick up on the language they're using. Communists in Eastern Europe often used the term "Anti *******" to refer to anyone who was not a communist. The Berlin Wall was officially named the "Anti-******* Protection Rampart" built to "protect the citizens from the *******s trying to prevent a socialist state." Ceaușescu was also very fond of the term. The fact that post modernists are changing the definitions of everything is not a coincidence.

So how many white folks have been lynched by antifa or blacks then, my man? Says it all that the woman this thread is about is a impotent object of scorn and riidcule in the video that's been shared really. She ain't terrorising anyone although she is making a bit of a fool of herself. You seen the memes of antifa being thrown out of helicopters? Guess wearing one of those T-Shirts makes you a ********* too huh? Maybe I set the bar too high but I tend to reserve the label 'terroist' for the kinda mfers who bomb jetliners or shoot up churches and mosques, not for folk who let their mouths run away with them in the heat of the moment or even those who break windows or set trashbin fires for kicks.

And no, antifa ain't an 'organisation' or a 'group' which is the whole point I was making. Are you slow in general or just not very good with definitions or something?

As for eating ****, I'm good thanks. I don't support the illegal property damage and violence of a small minority of those who identify as antifa - think that kinda crap's counterproductive - but I do support the goals of combatting authoritarianism, bigotry and racism. If you choose to be willfully blind to a massive injustice taking place in your own country that's your business, man, but I like to be able to look myself in the mirror.

With due respect Rex I probably know a little more about antifa as a movement than anyone else here... I was involved with groups like SHARP (skins against racism) and the Anti-**** league here in the UK from the early 90s onwards, and whilst these days I really ain't involved much any more I'll still show my face when we get ******* racists like the BNP or Britian First coming to my home city to stir up fuss. It ain't OK with me that racists like this use intimidation and violence against people in my community just cos they got a different skin tone or accent or religious beliefs... that's what antifa is to me and the people I know within the movement mainly share similar beliefs.

Now yes, there are those identifying as antifa who also have a broader ideological opposition to government or state... generally anarchists or communists, but that ain't what the movement is fundamentally about. Mainly in my experience we're talking about regular people - usually broadly on the left of the political spectrum - who have a personal belief that they have a duty to challenge the bigotry and hatred they see around them. Understand that to me these are people I know, and respect - mostly regular working people from a traditional Labour background - whereas the picture that's been painted to you from a hostile media is some Black Clad horde firebombing and looting indiscrimately. What I can also say from personal experience is that hostile media will make sure that any violence or criminality (even if provoked and even if only a minor incident in an otherwise peaceful event) receives the overwhelming amount of coverage... but it is what it is. Funny how folk can talk all the time about the 'MSM' or media bias and manipulation but yet be so oblivious to the fact that it works both ways.

And I never claimed antifa was a 'peace movement' - as the name suggests it is of it's very nature adversarial (although that doesn't necessarily mean violent) merely that it was a 'movement' as opposed to an organisation or a 'group' - there's is no overarching 'antifa' membership roll or party dues to be paid or any such nonsense, it''s simply the belief that bigotry and authoritarian violence needs to be challenged to prevent it growing into the kinda horror that the **** Party did.
