A friend of mine lived in this ****** apartment and the guy in the unit above him sold heroin. These zombies would come up the stairs from the alley, forget one flight of stairs and walk into my friend’s place from time to time lol. After throwing a guy off the 2nd floor balcony into a bunch of prickle bushes, he decided it was time to start locking the door.

Not if it's during the day and you're not holding a weapon or loved one.

For sure you'd be dead. It's little known fact but we (Americans) get a small Federal tax deduction for people we've killed who had prior convictions. True fact.
There's no income tax in Texas so we can't claim a tax deduction but we can apply for a $50 Costco gift certificate.

If I see the meanest looking Black kid at my door, I see my lilly white son... kids are kids and before I will harm a hair on any of their heads I want to make damn sure they are truly bad, and intent on doing something bad.
I absolutely agree with your thinking. I would think though that if I locked my doors and went to bed and woke up to an unknown intruder that it's prudent to assume that person is up to no good. As my mother always told me "shoot now and ask questions later."

Intruders follow certain patterns... One may not be certain, but one can usually ascertain certain behaviors. The real danger comes with making a judgement based on other factors. Exmple, you see a black women with her car hood open and kids in the car... One should ask themselves if they saw an innocent looking blonde would they act differently? To me a women with kids in a car always means the same thing lol. I should probably help out if it looks like the women is in need.

Actually I would probably trust the black woman with kids before trusting the blonde babe. Also like you said the judgement is situational.
