I'm done with Frank these days, still want him at the club but the lack of penetration in midfield is holding us back... get a player in that can play a ball between CB and fullback and Malouda will go back to being one of the best wingers in the league, Torres will start running onto through balls and Anelka won't have a defender standing up to him everytime he has the ball

I'd take Malouda ----- Modric ----- Mikel ----- Ramires, if we got the lad... I'd prefer Modric ---- Mikel ---- Ramires but that would require a new wide man, because Anelka cannot play there.

When Viera kicked out at Ruud in the battle of OT, he didn't dive on the floor and roll around he took a step back to get out the way of it, he didn't run over to the ref either. Ultimatley it was the ref's decision to send him off and that in my books is a bookable offence whether it connects with the player or not so you can't argue the sending off.

Everyone knew you couldn't beat Arsenal at that time playing football so there was only 1 thing to do and it worked.

Surely we'll be back to 4-3-3, and if Malouda doesn't gain some consistency Kalou could play wide-left... I'm surprised he hasn't had a run on the right, he'd have the confidence to go either side of defenders, is quick and would be much better at laying a ball on than having a crack at goal.

Do you think more teams are physical with Arsenal, given that they have a tendency to succumb to such tactics? Do you think teams get more of the benefit of the doubt when they're overly aggressive because of this, Arsenal dont like it up em tag, because of Wenger's constant moaning?

That's nothing to do with Arsenal being protected though. It's just that Arsenal can't seem to handle the same level of physicality that all the other teams can.

Has good reading of the game, picks the ball up in dangerous positions and is there to tap in... but his finishing is nowhere near good enough for a striker
And out wide... some days he can weave through defenders, other times he looks like a different player nearly falling over with the ball at his feet.
