Anyone with a laptop?

I'm thinking of getting a new laptop. It's a 16'' HP Pavilion 2.1 GHz, 4 GB RAM, about 200 GB Hard-drive, 3 Year warranty. Anti-virus for $100(originally $150), the base for the laptop alone was $700 but I got $100 off. All together, it's about $1,050 including taxes. Is that a good deal? If anyone else has a laptop can you post information about it and how much it cost.

I would check out the NewEgg.com if I was you. Sam's club also had some better deals for around 800 dollars. If I was you, I would grab some pirated Anti Virus software as well.

If you could put up the model number you'd probably have better luck with people telling you how good the laptop is, but from the specs you posted it seems solid for everyday use. If you're planning on gaming you'd have to post up the specs on the video and give us an idea of the processor (2.1GHz can be a lot of things, depending on the manufacturer)

Yup. Toshibas laptops are good quality, and you can get a good quality one for a good price.

Is this a older model, because most new laptops come with 350HD, however I would not spend 1000 on a laptop with those features unless it had a blu-ray player, oh yea is id Dual-Core, or uad -Core. (Quad Core just came out).
