my friends have called me that since we were young.

An old coworker of mine who I used to smashis named Melly Mel. DJ Melly Mel to be exact. It makes talking to you.............nostalgic.


For the thread I got my username from SRL. I heard him say it while he was doing commentary when I first started watching boxing, I forget which fight but that **** always stuck with me because it was so damn true. Now Floyd and his family swaggerjacked it from me and Ray. Bastards.

i choose my username because i am a fan of one of the best fighters of the last 30+ years, one of the great defensive fighters Cory Spinks

Because I tried a few usernames and they were taken so I used this.

I picked mine from years of watching Boxing and always hearing the ref say it. It symbolized a few things for me:

1. ****s bout to go down.

2. It's the most important person in the corner of a Fighter.

3. It's the person who(if they know their fighter the way they spossed to) gets them to dig deep and leave it all in the ring.

4. The Chief 2nd is a teacher, a mentor, a confidant, and a friend. And has the most important job in the building during a Boxing match. He has to be able to protect the fighter from everything.......................Including protecting the fighter from himself.
