what about a polar bear vs a lion

i seen a special sayin a polar bear was the second or third strongest animal or insect pound for pound. i think some kind of beetle was first.but they said a polar bear could smash through ice that was like 5 feet thick easily

lions seem to be smarter and better at seeking there prey. i think they could also be faster. both animals are strong but i got the polar bear in a fight .
