Bully, Grand Theft Auto's little brother

    Bully, from Rock*

I love this game. In fact, my wife likes watching me play. Even said while we were at the mall, "Let's go home so I can watch you play that game."

    I'm in nerd heaven.

Anyway. Jimmy, the so called "equalizer" bully, is not exactly a model student. The game follows the old three Acts formula: there is the rise of the character, the fall of the character, and the re-developed character.

I'm on the third part. Jimmy's just been through the "Pride comes before the Fall" lesson. He's beginning to be less of an ass and so far, is learning a few important lessons in life.

This game is a bit of a Metal Gear Solid, Sims 2, Tony Hawk and of course, a lot of Grand Theft Auto. The story is a bit of Revenge of the Nerds and The Outsiders except it takes place in a private school. This game is entertaining to say the least. Very entertaining.

        Sorry for the ambiguous message.

Think of it as Grand Theft Auto 3, but the character is an angry 15 year old highschool kid dropped off at a private school. He's the new kid. The school is chock full of bullies, rich kids, nerds, jocks and greasers. Like GTA3, you can do some missions. Unlike GTA3, you can interact with the people around you.

A lot of times, you get picked on by bullies. You can fight back or wimper out of a fight. If you fight, the prefects will send your ass to the office. So, kick ass as quickly as possible before the Prefects see you. If they see you, you can run and hide. There's a radar at the top right of the screen which shows their visual distance like Metal Gear Solid. After the timer ends, they stop looking for you.

You HAVE to attend classes. The classes are basically games which are quite fun. THere's English (find words out of a jumbled set of letters), Art (lame game), Chemistry (Parappa the Rappa button matching game), Gym Class (Dodge Ball) and Shop Class (a lite version of Parappa the Rappa).

You can make out with the girls as well. But you have to interact with them first and give them praises and then gifts, like Sims 2.

Sounds ace. I might pick this game up when I've got some cash. It's an original idea, which I nearly always like.
