If You mean how to bob weave you hold down L1 and move with one of the analogs. The only way you can block is if you time your punch with his and it'll block for ya..

It has alot to do with the skill of footwork beleive it or not. Are you moving at an okay speed, before you get punched?

lol ok first which game do you actually have? Describe the cover. Or ok is there something called Arcade Mode or Story Mode?

You are using the left analog to move right?

Take this advice. Pause a fight and switch the configuration to L1= Sway, left analog = Expert. Now you can hold L1 to dodge. And you should be moving quickly now. The VB game fans invented the L1= sway thing way back in 2000-2001. Fight Night ripped us off.

Yeah blocking isn't very easy in the game. You'll have to just dodge to be more effective.
