i hate the 80's and the plot and characters in VC were practically ripped off from a bunch of 80's movies. it was pretty bare also, i don't remember doing much else besides the story missions. easily GTAV for me.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It'd be one thing if the storyline in VC ripped off ****ty 80s movies, but they only stole from the best in the genre.

It also wasn't solely 80s movies they lifted material from : The charcter of Ken Rosenberg was a fantasticly executed tribute to Sean Penn's memorable performance as Dave Kleinfeld in the 1993 film 'Carlito's Way.'

i don't usually consider predictability a good thing. the story didn't surprise or thrill me in any way, it was just too much of a rehash of things i've already seen. ironically though, if there's anything positive i could say about VC, it would have to be the tightness of it's plot. it was concise and well grounded (like you said, they weren't ripping off ****ty movies) compared to SA and GTAIV which went into too many different directions before reaching their respective conclusions.

ok finally played online. seems pretty hectic. too much going on. you got a lot of f@ggots going around in crews killing people. Dont like the death match set up. You're confined to small stages and the respawn distance sucks.

i still have a lot of gripes with the game itself.

-Not enough parking spots for your cars. the garage system is a freaking joke. It doesnt open up, instead it loads the screen then once loaded you are confined inside.

Why didnt they keep the garage system they employed in most of the games. Its worse than the street parking lot set up in gta4. Why limit the amount of cars you can keep? So many tight cars in this game yet you dont have enough car spaces to keep them.

The way you keep your tanks and helicopters is even worse.

-No vigilante missions. You can do cab missions but you cant do cop missions? They should have incorporated the top 10 most wanted from the nico belic gta where different parts of town have criminals you can go after. You can keep going after criminals with different crimes.

How can they not keep that?

Once you beat the game, it gets pretty boring. I dont understand why rockstar didnt incorporate things people like from each game. Even how they set up the your wardrobe is pretty odd. You cant wear certain things together. Like if you decide to put on a outfit, some of them are restricted, cant change them.

Again, its a great game but it could have been so much better. Rockstar is reminding me of ea sports. They like to destroy and get rid of things that people like instead of rolling it over into their next game.
