    Anyone played with the new tuner on FNC yet?

    I believe this tuner is called 'the final nail in the coffin.'

    What a joke, the tuner's just get worse and worse. Instead of super human stamina you now have stamina that drops around 11-15% each round (and thats only throwing a few 1-2's each round) so you are zombie walking (yes its back) by round 5. Punches are alot slower, throwing 2-3 punches drains all your stamina bar meaning you are very vulnerable to being knocked out with a counter.

    But the biggest joke is that they have not addressed the biggest problem, yes cuts and swelling are still off, as are 1 punch ko's.

    This game is almost unplayable now. Why don't EA just do us all a favour and switch it back to how it was on release and give all the people that bought this game the game they actually paid for?

    I've been enjoying it with the new tuner, i have a brawler and an outside fighter. The stamina does take alot of getting used to, you can't blow your load in the first 2 rounds anymore and expect to get all yoru stamina back at the end you have to pace yourself. Throw 40-60punches a round max, don't hit air, and you'll still be pretty tired in the later rounds 60-70% stamina .Its actually more SIM now. But i do agree it does make the game a little less exciting then when you can launch 70-100 punches a round and not tire until round 8.

    All in all, if you adjust, and don't throw punches at air. The game is very fun now.

      they need to bring back the brutality though. CUTS AND SWELLING AND TKOs!

      I do want to clarify though, 1 punch ko's are back. I got one last night

        I will admit i like the fact jab spammers have to actually play the game properly now like the rest of us. I just think they messed with the stamina too much. I'm hardly a gung-ho fighter, i'm a patient outside fighter that throws no more then 15-20 punches a round and by round 5 i can barely stand up? Come on that is a major issue that needs fixing.

          I have no problem with the stamina issue... it makes spammers pay for throwing non-stop punches to the body ect.

          I just box like its real life oppose to a game, and my stamina is good... by rd 5 my opponent is usually gassed and I still have like 92% health


          oh yea 1 punch KOs are back... i had never even seen them until last night it happened to me twice and I was like wtf was that??... so yea they are def. back.. as far as cuts im not sure I cut pac man yesterday but other than that haven't seen them again

            i've had %18 stamina by round 5..


            I'm a pressure fighter with a high volume of punches... so this destroyed my strategy


            now %90 of the people get Tyson and either body spam you to make you lose stamina or they 1-2 you to death


            the better ones do a body head 1-2

            1 to the body 1 to the head so you can't block it...

            i've lost about 8 fights and won 2

              when they pick tyson with this new tuner, I can pick joe calzaghe or roy jones and just move around until they are drained.. then KO them

              I've KO'd tyson with calzaghe 2 times in the first rd... and 1 time in the 1st rd with jones jr

                  Are you constantly backing up or taking alot of hard body shots, cause those are killers now too. If you "run" during the rounds to get away it will hurt your stamina, you now have to circle, move in and out etc.

                  I have 2 fighters i'm using right now, a tall long reached HW that i used for the tuner when no one had power, so i could just hang back and throw jabs and disrupt their body spamming. This guy is super weak, i don't have much time in him, he's got an 80 rating, i've gone 5-1 with him since the tuner with 4ko's. He's really weak, i hadn't gotten a KO with him before the tuner. One guy I beat but did not KO was rated 89, so the tuner makes skill count for alot.

                  My Other fighter is an inside brawler, before the tuner i had lost the majority of my fights, cause of the high stamina and lack of power, Just couldn't hang with spammers or runners, or people who could outbox me, No punchers chance, no ability to grind down opponents. I went 20-32 before the tuner, since the tuner i'm 8-0 7kos.

                  Trying to catch up for all those losses I got after the first patch.

                    You just can't have wreckless agression. Work your way in, or come in with the blocks, get in close, and unleash, if they're all getting blocked, just lean on your opponent, throw a jab or two, wait for something to open up, then unleash again, also learn what lands from where you're guy is at, sometimes an uppercut will land when a hook or a jab wouldn't, and so so.

                    I walk my opponents down, and keep launching left hooks to the body, occasionally throwing in a combo to the head, or some right hooks/upper cuts etc. Jab here and there. The trick is not to punch at air, and if you're throwing 3+ jabs or hooks and they're not hitting anything, you're trying to punch your way in from too far away.

                    Relax, slow it down a bit, being a pressure fighter doesnt mean throwing punches from halfway across the ring that don't hit and then when you get in throwing tons of punches that are blocked until you gas out. Throw alot of punches that land, hard punches.

                    If you get to the 5th or 6th round you'll probably have 60-%70 stamina give or take, but remember your opponents stamina is draining at a similar rate as you, and he should be hurt as well with all the work you've done. . . most likely if you're pressuring and landing you'll get a KO before 6 if you have power.
