I'm not *****ing about the tuner (yet?) i just was curious what it changed, so i know where i need to adapt.

I like the tuner, haven't lost since

As far as I know, the Perfect Block counter that people would exploit is gone (so lets say you stand right next to your opponent, wait for them to punch while you block, then instantly throw a punch yourself, that bull crap is no longer a counter).

Also one punch KO's have been dramatically decreased. I fought about 15 times since the tuner, I didn't see any (normally I would get a least a couple).

Stamina is highly effected now. If you're gonna throw 1,000 punches in a fight, expect to have about 50-60% stamina in the late rounds.

I noticed body spammers (jab, jab, jab, jab!) gas really fast now. I fought a guy last night that's all he did over and over and by the 5th round he was in slow motion, easy KO at that point.

Another thing is punches really off-set your opponent. Before it was kinda like everyone just walked through punches, no matter how hard, etc. Now if you get hit with something right as your about to launch your punch, or even mid swing, your punch will be off-set.

Accuracy has also been tuned down. Which is great. I consistently keep my opponents punch rate around 25-40%. Much more realistic, versus before when everyone would have between 50-75% accuracy.

    There may be more.

I like how the patch included a free for everyone Dallas Cowboys stadium. It looks so sweet playing there, the lighting is great.

Ok, that makes sense why i was getting killed. Damn, i think i'm going to have to start a new fighter, my guy is built up as a straight up brawler. These settings may prefer someone a little slicker.

I didn't see a 1 punch ko last night either. Is it still in the game? I hope so, cause that was a big part of the spam deterant. Also, it keeps you inspired to continue the fight after you've been shut out for 9 rounds, knowing you still have a punchers chance.

I'm pretty sure it's still in the game, just doesn't happen nearly as often. Flash knockdowns still occur.

Also, because the stamina is much more effected, and because when your stamina is low the chances of getting hurt/knocked down greatly increase, if you're down 9 rounds you still have a shot. I had a fight like that last night, where I was definitely losing on the cards this guy had a tricky style but he was wasting a lot of stamina by missing a lot of punches, late in the fight I KO'd him and I know it was a result of his poor stamina at that point.

Health also gets affected a lot more now. Clean shots take out a nice chunk of health. You can no longer take a lot of consecutive shots without going into a stun state.

I hated that counter thing too.

Unfortunately, I ended up exploiting that too just to compete with other players, now I have to unlearn that habit.

I love the new Cowboys stadium. I used Pac and I felt like I was watching the Margarito fight.

Yeah bro it's a def huge change. I think it's been pushed more towards simulation with touches of arcade feel in comparison to what it played like prior. I have noticed a huge change with side stepping, they tightened it up allot. it has to be perfect so your opponent whiffs and you counter to early you get hit to late you get hit even before you move.

I still wish they killed the straight right hand spamming. you should be rewarded for landing shots not whiffs.

The stamina plays a huge part especially since i work the body then move up.

So i've gotten alot of games in since the tuner update. (still haven't won) It does feel alot more sim.
Every fight so far kind of plays out like Cotto vs Margaritto, getting outworked for the first 6,7 rounds, hoping they tire, and then finally landing good shots in 8,9,10 and just hoping its enough to KO them or drop them a couple times.

I think i like the update, but i hate having to go 8-10 rounds every fight. And i think it may give way too much of an edge to the outside fighter. But before i commit to that statement, i've got to start another guy, or see if I have enough room to make this guy competitive with XP adjustments. Cause my guy was designed for the old way, and he needs things slightly different to be competitive here.

How do you fight? How many punches per rounds what's your style? PM me maybe i can give some advice. My rec online is 102-25 with 68 ko's so I might be able to give you some advice.

My guy is maxed at l/r hook to the head, maxed at rhook to the body, and mostly maxed at left hook to the body.

Strong Chin, medium strong body, So/so at combo, and Maxed Block.

Generally the way i fight is for the first 2-3 rounds, i fight very slow, I throw a jab here and there, occasionally a jab straight combo, or Jab to the body straight to the head.
I block way more than i try to sidestep, cause i don't want them thinking that i may be side stepping or ducking punches in the future.

I fight on the outside and very cautiously for the first couple rounds. This usually gives me a feel for my opponent, makes me look like i don't know what i'm doing (i don't do anything fancy), gives them a sense that i'm going to try to win on points, and they're outpointing me. It also conserves my energy and usually gets them throwing alot more.

Then in round 3 or 4 (depending on opponent), They're usually not scared of me coming in, cause they expect a jab or two, they're not really looking for counters or anything.

I bull rush from the opening bell, and work the body and head with hooks in combination, as well as push them into the corner.
I double my punch output here.

Usually i'm looking at a knockout in the next few rounds 6-8.

However, sometimes that lead i gave them for the first few rounds was too much, and then they just run on me, or if they drop me on a good shot, i'm also way behind on the cards.

However, this style, sucks for the new tuner.... so I don't recommend emulating it.
