New here, and I stumbled across this site just searching for boxing sites that might have FNC gyms run by boxing fans. Great site, I've added to my favs.
In my search, I also came across w_w_w. ultimateboxingfederation. n_e_t (not enough posts to show--use www and net)
Its another site created by boxing fans, for boxing fans, and they have a very cool FNC league starting up.
I joined their forums/league earlier this week. Haven't fought yet but it seems like a good concept what their doing. You basically create your boxer, and everyone has to use the same number of points, but can distribute them however they want to box. For the offensive/Def rating, you get 1-20, 2-16s, 7-12s, and 7-10s. Then on the athleticism tab, you can move the sliders however you like until your boxer reaches a lvl 80.
So everyone's fighter ends up the same level, but can be very different based on how they distribute their points.
It's a great idea actually, I messed with my fighter for several hours last night seeing how changes here or their affect the style.
They also have promoters, fight cards, you start in a D-league, and work your way up by winning.
Anyway, if you are interested in what looks to be like a decent league, check it out. Its free as well.
