the thing that sucks is naughty dog and insomniac had to give crash and spyro to universal, in order to get out of thier contract(well i think crash only part)...........otherwise wed still have those babies on the ps3....Comment

The best series ever is a tough one.
I nominate Metal Gear Solid firstoff, completely redefined what I thought a video game could be. As close as a game has ever come to art, and in my eyes, achieved that goal.
Super Mario series obviously. Still consistent and addictive 13 years later.
The Donkey Kong Country series on the SNES was amazing.
Final Fight also on the SNES was amazing if you like beat em' ups, and I can't mention that without Streets of Rage for the Genesis.
Castelvania has always been awesome, though it's had some serious **** ups. (Castlevania 64 anyone?)
Street Fighter is putting a new spin on an old classic, still going strong.Comment

It's a shame that Naughty Dog and Insomanic games don't make Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. I loved Spyro 2, Crash Banicoot 3 and Crash Team Racing.
