It is not great for your health to do this kind of stuff. Not just about the health aspect but for the actuall energy needed in a bout. When you drain yourself to make weight and then put that weight right back on and then some, you will feel sluggish. Aswell, having "dried out" to make weight, you have eaten little food and ingested little water if any. Your body will burn the immediate fuel that is in your body in the bout. It will then go to the reserves in your system to fuel off of the stored energy, but there is none. You expended it during the training to make weight and now your body is depleated of fuel. Thats a hell of a thing to deal with when your already dealing with a very worthy foe.
Make weight the right way and it will pay off in the end.
