    Lack of Energy ....

I havent been boxing for about 1 week now. and i went gym yesterday to work my lats in about a month. i was using the lat machine and also the seated version.

my lats were hurting today but i still felt strong enough to do my 4 mile semi run / jog.

after just less than half way my legs and theighs felt so heavy and i lost the motivation to carry on. even Eminem on my mp3 player couldnt motivate me to carry on jogging.

Ive got boxing tommorow at 8pm. do you think i should go tommorow night? or should i get better fitness before i should go? i always get this problem when i miss a week of training. its like my body just gives up.

Ive eat fish and chips to last week and a few currys. but my weight remained the same. also got a bit of a soar throat too.

do you work? if so, that's a reason you may be tired. I work 5 days a week 630-230 and when I come home its hard to work out because I'm tired as ****.

You defiantly should go why wouldnt you..? You asked if you should build your fitness up before goin.... goin to the gym will build up your fitness go back there it may be kill for the first week but push through it. It'll become easier.

just today, jus woken up. and ive got a really bad soar throat. you know the scratchy feeling on inside your throat.

and my nose is sligthtly blocked.

maybe last nite my body was telling me that it needs rest as there is a virus inside me. thats why i couldnt run propely as my body was being attacked by the cold maybe.

a good sweat is what u need, but don't try and train like you are 100 percent.. make sure you get plenty of water in your system.

listen to your body before anything else.. legs giving out means either you are running to hard or not enough carbs in your system.. either way you may need a break from running..

i wouldn't do any sparring while congested, just some light gym work to sweat and get the impurities out of your body...

after taking time off from training, you have to gradually work your way back into training, you shouldn't start where you left off. for instance: if your were running 4 miles a day before you took time off, don't go back to running 4 miles as soon as you come back, start at maybe 2 miles for a few days and work your way back to 4 miles..

didnt go training. felt real weak, and had a headache. soar throat is still there, and body hurts and i feel lazy at the same time. eat chicken and salad and bread at 2pm and still could not digest it well till about 6pm.

              felt full and felt slow.

looks like im gonna do skipping and circuit training on my own untill friday.

It's alright. Just rest up, eat good, and get back at it when you get better?

2-3 hours before training, try eating some whole wheat pasta. i recommend some rotini with some fat free italian dressing or fat free caesar.
