For some people it’s as easy as not having that juice/soda with all their meals and laying off the gatorade and excessive processed foods.

If the best way for you to do this is through intermittent fasting or a lot of small meals a day or whatever, then do what works for you. Adjust for your lifestyle.

Love to hit up restaurants? Pass on the extra sides, especially fried ones. Get a good protein source, pass on the soda (try water with lemon) and for your side go old school with a plain baked potato if you have to or just a side of greens (broccoli?). You can still indulge in your ribeye. Once you go a few days off the sugary drinks or beer it’s easy to eat out healthy...ish.

Love a bunch of toast with breakfast? Maybe find thin sliced and have less.

Think you’re hungry? Have some water and wait. Sometimes you’re not hungry, just bored.

Don’t shop on an empty stomach they say helps buy less junk and cravings? Try that.

You can still eat like a piece of s hit sometimes, just be more selective.

The better you eat, the more motivation you have to work out hard. It goes the other way too. Once you fall into it, you wont want to waste your hard work on a 20 piece chicken mcnugget meal with large fries and a coke.

If you’re “always hungry?youre eating the wrong thing. There are tons of low calorie and fairly nutrient dense “clean?foods you can eat in pretty f ucking big portions (Like broccoli).

    You got this.

Don’t play the short game. Like oh I lose five pounds without giving up smoking or beer. Yeah...for now. Lets see in five-ten-fifteen years how the shi tty habits worked out.

Most people regain the weight + more when they don’t make a dedicated lifestyle change.
Pretty much this plus don’t make it overly complex.

Cut back the calories but don’t get super hungry and that won’t work

I was in my mid 20s... Made sure I get that runner's high, hated food and took xenadrine with ephedrine.

          That's how I did 220 to 167 in a little more than 2 months.

you just have to not eat. IF youre not feeling pain in your stomach from not eating, then youre most likely gaining weight or only maintaining. Def not losing though.

Yes and no. It all depends on what the food actually is.

This is true. There are plenty of calorie calculators online and some are from accredited medical sites. Find out what your daily allowance is to maintain your current weight then reduce to achieve the desired goal. Like Z said your body will adapt to a lower calorie intake and slow your metabolism eventually. Some people zigzag their daily calories, sum days higher, sum days lower. A lot of people like to throw in a single high calorie day once a week. This can be a cheat meal or a cheat “day?but don’t get carried away with it. Don’t double your calories or anything like that. An extra %20-%40 should be fine, and it doesn’t need to be all simple carbs like sugars. Train that lagging body part that day and get in some extra protein.
