    How many of you?

Train functionally. I mean, do you guys go out and try to train towards something that would fit your needs (ie. power so you do plyo's/explosive training, footspeed ie. agility ladder). Or do you guys just train the core body parts in hope of achieving some strength/better conditioning?

And how many of you change your program after a period of 3-4 weeks?

I train functionally, but also train to give the large muscle groups some good work outside of pure functionality. Everything can't always be functional. The muscles get tired of being worked exactly the same way all the time, and it is psychologically defeating because it is so frigging boring. One needs variety.

I train for function, but I wouldn't mind having a good defined body in the process

I train for overall strength. As I am not yet "a boxer," I am on a bulking strength routine. 5 days per week with a different group each day. Calves and abs twice a week, traps 3 times per week. In the process of revamping my workout to incorporate plyo's and such.

i train for two sports which tend to go all year round and in some ways certain training for one helps the other because with wrestling i need to run, watch my weight, eat healthy,do push ups, sit ups and weight lifting. And you spar in both just in different ways of course
